I’m Patroklos Skafidas. I started shooting in the film and dark room era. The last almost fifteen years though I was lucky enough to work with inspired creatives, photographing only theatrical or dance shows. Every new staging challenges me to view the world through a new angle, while offering my perspective for a (theatrical) text, a directors idea or a production house goal.

 Earlier in my career I worked for lots of deferent photography sectors but I feel that I have found my niche

I am self taught and feel kind of proud about this

In my early fifties now I am still impressed that holding a camera is something that not only hasn't made me feel bored or tired but in the contrary it gives me joy.
